by the end of january we had not heard any responce so we contacted UPS
the item was damaged by the UPS delivery driver.we contacted UPS and reported the damage.we gave them all the information ,and they stated they would teke care of it.by the end of january we had not heard any responce so we contacted UPS.they stated that they had paid the claim to NORTHERN HOME COLLECTIONS, so we did.they stated that they had no record of the refund, then the next day said that they found it in their records,but they had never contacted us.so now it was to long to file a dispute.we asked for our $18.95 back.instead they sent another gnome.we explained we no lomger wanted it .it was to be a xmas gift for a friend, and now we were in the month of febuary.we did not except the delivery from the POST OFFICE.it was stamped RETURN TO SENDER,so we never touched the package.we have contacted them many times by email,because they will not answer their phone. well here it is april and now they claim they never received the refund. UPS has told us they were issued the refund on 1/20/2012. we sent them this info.they stated that they would refund our money once the package was returned.they stated that they would need a tracking number from us.we explained that it was stamped RETURN TO SENDER so any tracking info would be the same as when they shipped it, seeing that we did not have anything with the return shipping.as of their last email, now they state{WE NEVER RECEIVED THE REFUND,AND NEVER RECEIVED THE PACKAGE THAT WAS STAMPED {RETURN TO SENDER}.THIS COMPANY HAS LIED ABOUT THIS STORY SO MANY TIMES THEY CANNOT KEEP THEIR STORY STRAIGHT..if you have a damegeditem or lost {REPORT IT TO EBAY ASAP AND FILE A DISPUTE}do not wait for any shipping company or seller tell you that {they will take care of it }..NORTHERN HOME COLLECTIONS, IS A DISHONNEST COMPANY. they are the middle man for a bigger company, that does not care about fair trade laws.ebay has contacted NORTHERN HOME COLLECTIONS about this and they continue to to lie about it.i should have waited to leave feedback,but when the item was delivered,damaged and UPS stated they would correct the problem, i left a possitive feed back..WHAT A MISTAKE..SO NOW NORTHERN HOME COLLECTIONS HAS BEEN PAID $18.95 by me and $18.95 from UPS making a total of $37.95 that they have received by cheatting a customer.our friend went to their site and saw many garden items that they were instrested in but will not buy from NORTHERN HOME COLLECTIONS. WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN AND I WISH I COULD CHANGE MY FEEDBACK FROM POSS TO A NEG. ebay said it is wrong but thier hand are tied in this matter, because we waited to long to try to file a dispute
